Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis is a non invasive test that evaluate nutritional mineral levels, their ratios, heavy metals as well as your individual metabolic categorization. Your individualized hair analysis report takes each of these factors into consideration along with your age, sex, and current health symptoms. You will receive a very comprehensive report complete with graphs and accompanying explanations and recommendations from your trichologist. Ok so what does this have to do with my hair? Though there are many forms of alopecia and scalp disorders often times it can be linked to mineral deficiencies or imbalances in the body. Our hair often tells the story of whats going on internally, a warning to let us know it's time for a change. Ok i'm interested, how does this work? You will come in at the scheduled time fill out paper work. Your hair will be deeply cleansed and blow dried, hair sample will be cut from the scalp using thinning shears (making areas less noticeable). Sample will be mailed to Trace Elements Lab. You will be notified when report arrives up to 2 to 3 weeks.
